Phuket is one of the most popular places in Thailand.
The Island offers something for everyone, from adventurous activities like Zip-Lining or quad biking to sunset cruise dinner to Muay Thai Boxing and luxurious spa treatments.

1. Zip Lining
Zip-Lining is the ultimate activity in Phuket for everyone looking for some action and adrenaline. The “Flying Hanuman” park has 28 platforms with a maximum height of more than 40 meters and a maximum flight distance of 400 meters.
I especially liked the part where we had to abseil down a 40 meters high tree. My impression of the park was very good; The staff is well trained, and the security standards are high.
All guests receive very modern security equipment and a comprehensive briefing before the tour.
2. Half-Day or Full-Day Trip to Coral Island
Coral Island is situated 9 kilometers off the southeast coast of Phuket and is surrounded by colorful coral reefs. The traveling time by speedboat is just 15 to 20 minutes from Chalong Pier.
The Island is also called “The Fun Island” because visitors can do a wide range of activities like snorkeling, diving, parasailing, banana boat, and sea walking.
3. ATV Tour
Are you looking for some action? I highly recommend an ATV Tour through Phuket’s jungle and mud.
It is a fun way to explore natural beauty. You can also combine an ATV tour with the Flying Fox, Elephant Trekking, Team Building Activities, or Whitewater Rafting.

4. Spa Treatment at Sukko Resort & Spa
Sukko Cultural Spa has 50 standard treatment rooms for guests and outside visitors. You can choose between 14 spa packages from two to three hours.
However, when you are looking for a special experience, I highly recommend the Jantra Private Spa in your own private spa villa with changing room, steam room, whirlpool, rain shower, and lavatory. Read more about the Spa in my review of Sukko Spa Resort.

5. Catamaran Sunset Dinner Cruise
The Catamaran Sunset Cruise is a great activity to finish the day. The tour starts at 4:30 PM at Chalong Pier. The crew first takes you to the Promthep Cave, where you can watch the beautiful sunset.
Afterward, dinner and drinks are served on board. It is so relaxing to sit with a drink in one of the sandbags and listen to music. The tour takes about five hours and costs 2.900 THB (about $80).
6. Muay Thai Boxing
Muay Thai is the national sport of Thailand and was developed several hundred years ago. It is referred to as “The Art of Eight Limbs,”; and using eight points of contact, the body mimics weapons of war.
I joined Tiger Muay Thai Camp Phuket for one week and highly recommended you to try it as well. You can read more about my experiences at the camp here.

Hotel Recommendation: The Vijit Resort Phuket
Did you ever stay in a luxury villa with your own private pool? You can do exactly this at The Vijitt Resort Phuket, including an amazing view of the Andaman Sea and an offshore island.
I stayed three nights at the Resort and really enjoyed the calm atmosphere apart from the tourist crowds. Read here more about my experience at The Vijit Resort.
