Getting to Valladolid from Merida
1. ADO Bus

One ticket on the ADO buses costs USD 22, making them the most popular transportation option among travelers!
All ADO buses have air conditioning, reclinable seats, bathrooms, and TVs.
The buses depart from the ADO station in Merida and take you directly to the historical site in just 2 hours and 20 minutes.
They offer several daily departures, but since they fill up quickly, booking your ADO bus tickets in advance is recommended!

Shared van shuttles are less crowded than buses, but also slightly more expensive. While the shuttle leaves at fixed times, you will still get picked up and dropped off at your hotel, which is a bonus!

You can also take a taxi or Uber to Valladolid.
This is usually a last-minute option for travelers, and I recommend it if you have no other choice.
Other alternatives, such as private transfers or a bus, are much more convenient, but if you have no other option and you’re traveling at the last minute, you can find a taxi to take you to Valladolid.
