Bio:
I’m Mitja Mirtič, co-founder and CEO of Goolets luxury yacht charter company, born from a late-night spark of inspiration in 2004 after my first gulet cruise. That experience opened my eyes to the potential of this unique form of travel. I couldn't sleep, so I wrote down all my ideas, and that's how the story of Goolets began.
Starting with no capital and little experience, my partner Alenka and I launched Goolets in 2005. Our goal was to introduce the world to luxury gulet and yacht cruises within reach to broader audiences, and we successfully did so. Over the years, we've grown from a small operation into a leading luxury yacht charter company. We've expanded our fleet to over 300 luxury gulets and yachts across destinations like Turkey, Croatia, Italy, Greece, the Caribbean and others.
Our focus has always been on providing exceptional customer support. We've built a dedicated team that assists clients from the initial inquiry through every detail of their journey, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
I'm passionate about continuous improvement, always seeking ways to make things better and more interesting. At Goolets, we never run out of new projects and ideas, constantly exploring innovative marketing and leadership strategies to help our team and clients grow and learn.
