Are you searching for a serene escape that combines luxury and relaxation?
During my trip to Bahrain, I stayed three nights at the Vida Beach Resort Marassi Al Bahrain.
From the sunrise views over the Arabian Gulf to the effortless balance of design, comfort, and location—this resort truly delivered.
Location
The hotel is situated along Bahrain’s pristine coastline and boasts a private beach, where you can enjoy the soothing embrace of the Arabian Gulf’s turquoise waters.
Whether you prefer lounging on the soft sands or taking a refreshing dip in the sea, this idyllic beachfront setting sets the stage for unforgettable moments of relaxation and tranquility.
My Room
During my stay, I stayed in the Deluxe Room Partial Sea View King.
The large windows and the balcony door let much daylight into the room, which I liked very much.
The room is equipped with everything you might need on vacation—a kettle to make tea or coffee, a mini bar with drinks and snacks, shampoo and body lotion, a toothbrush in case you forget your own, flip-flops for the beach or pool, a hairdryer, and a bathrobe.
The king-sized bed is super comfortable, and you can choose between different pillows.
The best part is that you can watch the sunrise from your bed! Is there a better way to start the day?
Did I mention the balcony with a view of the pool and beach?
It features a small table with two chairs, perfect for enjoying a cup of tea or coffee – or some food you can order from the in-house restaurants.
Pool
The infinity pool offers a picturesque oasis where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
With its seamless blend into the horizon, the pool creates an illusion of merging with the surrounding natural beauty.
Picture yourself sipping a chilled tropical cocktail or indulging in a light, flavorful snack while lounging by the pool.
Unfortunately, during my stay at the hotel, which coincided with Ramadan, the pool bar remained closed as part of the observance of this holy month.
However, the resort offered alternative dining options to ensure a memorable and enjoyable experience even during Ramadan.
Beach
Step out of your comfortable hotel bed and, within minutes, find yourself basking in the sun on a relaxing sunbed at the private beach.
At the beach, you’ll find an array of lounges, sunbeds, and umbrellas, providing the ideal setting to soak up the sun and revel in the azure waters.
Choose your preferred spot, settle in, and let the world’s worries fade away as you enjoy the gentle sea breeze and the mesmerizing views.
The attentive staff is dedicated to ensuring your comfort and satisfaction.
They are readily available to provide you with towels and assist you with any requests or needs you may have.
There are many exciting water sports activities at the beach for adventurous souls.
Dive into the turquoise waters and embark on thrilling adventures such as snorkeling, jet skiing, paddle boarding, or a relaxing kayak ride.
Gym
I was impressed from the first moment and immediately knew I would spend much time here.
Where else can you exercise with a breathtaking beach and sea view?
I usually sat on the spinning bike for half an hour to warm up. Usually totally dull, you look at a wall or a TV screen.
Not so at Vida Beach Resort Bahrain.
Here, you can ask the trainers to push the bike onto the terrace, and you can train in the fresh air with a fantastic view of the beach and the sea.
The gym is fully equipped to do a full-body workout.
Restaurants & Bars
The resort has three restaurants and bars.
Origins Vida Bahrain
At Origins, you can indulge in guilt-free eating without worrying about calorie counting.
They offer a clean menu with freshly sourced ingredients that cater to fitness enthusiasts.
For breakfast, you can enjoy a varied buffet featuring fresh juices, homemade bread, smoked salmon, and much more.
It’s a delightful spread that will satisfy your taste buds and give you a nutritious start to your day.
In addition to the buffet, you can also order different dishes à la carte. This allows you to choose from various options that suit your preferences and dietary needs.

What I loved
My stay was extremely good overall, but I’d still like to point out some highlights for you.
- I especially liked the gym with the fabulous beach and sea view. This makes sports much more fun!
- The infinity pool was the perfect place to do nothing and enjoy the sun and the beautiful view.
- Besides the pool, I also enjoyed spending time on the beach, which is part of the hotel and can be reached in just a few minutes from the hotel room.
- The service was excellent, and the beach was spotless and well-maintained.
- I also really liked my room with a sea view! There was a lot of daylight through the large window and the balcony door.
- Of course, the balcony overlooking the pool and the beach was one of the highlights. It is the perfect place for a cozy drink or a quiet chat.
- I could watch the sunrise from my bed every morning – what better way to start a new day?
- The food was also delicious, and the selection was great!
- There was a varied buffet for breakfast, and you could also order different dishes á la carte.
