There are no clocks or windows in Las Vegas casinos!
Why don’t casinos have clocks or windows written by Sigrid from My Travel Diary USA
As a passionate poker player, you naturally want to play at the Mecca of Gambling in Las Vegas.
I have to confess that I never thought of looking for a clock. However, after someone recently told me that there are no clocks in casinos in Las Vegas, I realized that I had never seen one and never missed one.
So I did some research, and, indeed, there are actually no clocks in casinos.

But why are there no clocks in casinos in Las Vegas?
Las Vegas is home to the largest, most ornate, most elaborate, craziest, and most fascinating casinos globally. But it’s true, there are no clocks in any of these casinos, and there are no windows.
Time stands still without a clock. Without windows, the times of the day pass by and are not noticed at all. This takes away the sense of time and tries to keep the players in the casinos for as long as possible.
When playing, you shouldn’t think about what time it is, and you shouldn’t know whether it’s dark or light outside, so you don’t set a time limit.
A casino is a business like any other and, of course, wants to make money. Some casinos in Las Vegas are said to even add oxygen to the air you breathe so that you don’t get tired and can therefore play longer.
Without a watch you will lose track of time!
If you sit at the poker table and can see what time it is, you might think that it is quite late already, another hour, and then off to bed. But if there is no clock and you are captivated by the game, you lose your sense of time.
You immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the casino. The flashing lights and sounds animate to stay. Plus various free drinks everywhere, you feel really comfortable.
This is exactly what is wanted, which is exactly why there are no clocks in casinos in Las Vegas.
